​There’s something timeless about families gathering by the sea — barefoot on soft sand, hearts full, generations all in one frame. On a gentle morning at Grotto Beach in Hermanus, I had the joy of photographing the beautiful Fair family. A gift to a beloved grandmother, this session brought together her three sons — two with their glowing wives and daughters, both expecting new life — and the youngest, home from abroad with his own love. Grandpa stood proudly among them all.

Dressed in calming hues of blue, beige and white, they radiated connection, laughter, and legacy. A memory made, a moment held still.
