Haygrove Berry Farm in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley was softly lit, with a beautiful tree-lined lane creating the perfect setting for portraits. Iann Coetzee and Dawie Naude, two friends from Hermanus High, arrived with their dates, Maya and Ilé, who themselves are long-time gymnastics teammates from different schools. While the evening began with portraits of the boys, the girls naturally stepped into frame—Maya graceful in navy from Bride & Co (hair by Amri, makeup by Leoume Vos) and Ilé lovely in blush-pink handmade by her grandmother (hair by Amrie, makeup by herself). From casual laughter and gentle twirls to couples and family portraits, the moments unfolded effortlessly, and by the time I left, the group was gathered at the pond, champagne and hors d'oeuvres in hand, welcoming friends and beginning their celebration.
