Photographing Jasmin's 40th birthday was a truly special experience, made even more meaningful as it marked the second time I had the privilege of capturing Karin's family. Last year, it was a celebration of her daughter Shani’s 40th, and this year, we celebrated her daughter-in-law Jasmin’s milestone. Married to Karin’s South African son, Jasmin, a vibrant and warm German, was surrounded by her beautiful blue-eyed, blonde-haired daughters as the family and friends gathered on their rooftop overlooking the breathtaking Hermanus Bay. The luau-themed party added a playful, tropical charm to the evening, with floral leis, laughter, and the glow of a family celebrating love and life under the South African sunset. It was a heartfelt and unforgettable moment.
