Photographing the Kolesky Family became an adventure of resilience and adaptation as severe storms altered our initial plans to shoot at a local wine farm in Hermanus. The washed-out roads led us to Musselriver beach, where we embraced the bright day and made the most of the circumstances. Witnessing three generations come together was a heartwarming experience, especially with their son and his family residing in England. Their visit home provided the perfect opportunity to capture family moments, including their son and the charming addition of their English bulldog, creating a set of photographs that reflected both the joy of reunion and the beautiful diversity of their family ties.
