Photographing Nadine's book reading and signing at Frances, a French Provence-inspired restaurant in Hermanus, offered a tasteful blend of literature and gastronomy. The evening event, set against the restaurant's elegant ambiance, featured Nadine sharing verses from her Afrikaans poetry book, "Loot." Attendees immersed themselves in both the spoken word and the culinary offerings, enjoying the lovely food and wines curated for the occasion. This marked my second opportunity to capture Nadine's literary moments, and the setting at Frances added a distinctive charm to the event. The combination of thoughtful poetry, fine dining, and the warmth of shared words made for an engaging and culturally enriching evening.
