I had the privilege of capturing the reading of Nadine’s second book, Die Roos, at the Hermanus Walker Bay Modern Art Gallery. The evening unfolded like a poem itself—set against the gallery’s warm summer ambiance, with bright light flooding the courtyard below. Guests mingled, enjoying Chef Tullishe Le Roux’s incredible catering (she also did my vow renewal!), paired with exquisite wines from Hermanuspietersfontein. Later, the reading took place upstairs, where Nadine’s words came to life in an intimate, creative setting. It was an honour to photograph such a beautiful celebration of art, literature, and connection.
