Photographing my children's Grade R teacher, Michelle, became a heartfelt family affair as her mother and two sisters joined in, creating a memorable gathering. Michelle, with her husband and children, and her married sister with her own son and daughter, formed a vibrant group. The cousins added an extra layer of joy, playfully chasing each other and sharing piggyback rides. Amidst the laughter, the day also carried emotional weight as Michelle's grandmother, present in the photos, had been diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately passed away a few months later. The session turned into a collection of treasured memories, capturing the essence of family bonds and the fleeting yet precious moments that define our lives.
